A question of timing

You know when you find a post you love? And it turns out to be 7 months old? But, though you found it through link-hopping, it turns out the person who made it is on your friends list now? And you really want to say something but it feels weird because it is 7 months old? Um, yeah.

I thought, hm, maybe I will get back to Twilight today like I said I would so long ago. I picked it up. I read a page. I dropped it.

This shambling abomination is just not written in any sense of the term I can grok. Forget squid-things: this is true Lovecraftian horror. Even death may die... and become a sparkly vampire.

Duamuteffe had a running count of how much action there was in LKH's supposed action book Affliction. I am going to do something similar: how much sex is there in this supposed sexy book? I'll include foreplay -- what little there is of it. So far we have 5.25 pages of sex, out of 90 pages total. There was also a little bit of smoochery. No consent. Even when Anita made out with Micah and Nathaniel in the first chapter, they did it in front of an appalled onlooker and were obviously getting off on forcing voyeurism on her.
