You know when you find a post you love? And it turns out to be 7 months old? But, though you found it through link-hopping, it turns out the person who made it is on your friends list now? And you really want to say something but it feels weird because it is 7 months old? Um, yeah.

I say leave a comment anyway - it might inside an interesting discussion, and people are usually appreciative of others commenting on old stuff. At last, that's my guess.

I like people commenting on my old stuff too! And yet I feel weird commenting on other people's old stuff. Especially if it's just a "this is a good post!" type of comment Though I know I feel good about receiving that kind of comment myself.

Same here. It always feels lovely to get an unexpected comment on something forgotten.

I actually commented on something old a while ago, and the recipient was pretty excited to receive a happy comment on something old. ^^

It does feel weird, though!

Comment! Yeah, it feels a little weird, and sometimes the person isn't able to be on the right page to really engage, but it's wonderful to have someone read what you worked hard to express and think about it.
