Awake again

At least this time I'm awake enough to play Baldur's Gate. I think my two nights of insomnia are due to drinking a whole can of caffeinated Pepsi two days ago. There was a time when I could drink multiple Mountain Dews (blech) in a day, or 4 big coffees, and I could still sleep at night. I always wondered why my grandmother drank decaf coffee and decaf pop. NOW I KNOW. Sorry for thinking you were weird, Grandma. Also, I'm not sure whether I'm happy I have genetics that are particularly sensitive to caffeine, or if I'd prefer to have gotten the genetics of my other grandmother, who drank multiple cups of ridiculously strong coffee every day. It's too bad they didn't average out.

I hate Anomen with the burning passion of 10,000 suns. :P

(The mod is for a BG2 Ajantis. Someone else has already added their version of him to the game, I found out, but I'd already thought of a story for an Ajantis and started on the mod before finding that out, and mine is pretty thoroughly different. I plan to release the PG mod, but not the R version, when I'm done... in the next decade, hopefully.)

I like them both, but find BG1 Ajantis utterly adorable. He tries so very hard as a naive young squire...and has fewer issues than Anomen, yes. Hooray! :)

P.S. And, if you are interested, I have collated some Ajantis fanfic on the web...Almost a story is eerie and good.
