My mom now lives in a state where marijuana is legal. Marijuana is a good painkiller, with a lot fewer side effects, especially long-term side effects, than even Tramadol, which is what I'm on. So if my surgery doesn't pan out as well as I hope for... of course, I can't smell pot without feeling sick. Hash brownies?

Don't mind me, I'm loopy from post-election relief.

and actually, there are distillers who create a tincture of marijuana that you can add to a glass of water/juice/whiskey and they have the same pain reducing effects without the smell/having to smoke/etc. one of my friends uses it for his insomnia, and it's easier to control the dose too - so keep that in mind if you need it!
