(no subject)

I had outpatient surgery today. The putting in of the needle for the anesthesia hurt like hell. After that, though, everything was fiiiine. It was not total anesthesia, the doctor actually called it "Twilight Sleep" and said I'd probably forget what happened. I still remember what happened, I think. Anyway, the nurse afterward told my husband I was drunk, and that's kinda how I feel, but both better and worse. Better: I don't have a headache and I can see straight and I don't feel sad. Worse: ow pain. But it's not bad. 

I have often wished I could read an Anita Blake book while drunk so maybe I will do the next chapter tonight.
