Never click a link to the SCP wiki late at night

Content: It's the SCP Foundation, so Here Be Nightmares. I'm not describing the entry though.

I am more freaked out by  this entry at the SCP wiki than I have been by anything else I've read there, and I've read hundreds of entries: http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-701. It's called -- know what I'm not even writing the name on my blog, I feel like some horrible thing will happen if I do. 

I know this is fiction. Made up for chills and for the joy of making stuff up. But I am so incredibly freaked out I can't even describe it. Ever since reading that, I've felt someone is in the room with me. I'm not particularly difficult to freak out, but I'm not particularly easy to freak out either. On top of that, the air conditioning is busted (in Florida in July), so going to cuddle Beroli isn't really possible.

OH AND SOMEONE JUST TRIED TO OPEN OUR FRONT DOOR LOVELY. This happens sometimes -- I think drug dealers or something used to live in this apartment. We always keep the door deadbolted because of this. But the timing was just wonderful. Holy crap. I will be shocked if I can sleep tonight.

I remember reading that SCP too. :) It didn't freak me out, though, possibly because I'd encountered the same general concept previously in a Neon Genesis Evangelion/Cthulhu mythos fanfic.

Hope you manage some rest and enjoy more of the SCP wiki later in daylight hours!
