There was a Washington Post (liberal media my butt) article published recently about how Americans are so incredibly stressed and no one could figure out why. They had quotes by people outlining very clearly why -- lack of healthcare, lack of job stability, not getting paid enough. But the article didn't engage with the quotes at all and was like, "but prices have remained stable so it can't be the economy so whyyyy!"
It was weird. I ended up with the impression that the person who wrote the article wanted to make the point that it really is because of how our monopolistic, anti-human economy is run, but this person works for Jeff Bezos and so they had to pretend to be clueless. But they still managed to get those quotes through.
