And I feel really weird about it. After around four years (I can't pinpoint it), I feel like I'm alive again. But I also feel like I haven't been here for most of the past four years. So I feel that this is my 34th birthday, not 38th -- I lost time. I can really identify with Commander Shepard :P.

That makes sense. After enough of the milestones, time starts to blend for some of us.

This is true. But in my case, it's because I have not been really present for the past few years. I've been in too much pain and on too many prescribed painkillers that totally fucked me up. Now I'm here again, no longer in as much pain, no longer on those terrible drugs, and to say the feeling is strange is an understatement.

Thanks :). Well, the adjustments are... uh, weird. I'm not used to not being able to understand what I'm feeling and articulate it. But whatever it is, it's better than it was.
