1,000 words a day sounds completely reasonable to me. That's actually about what I tend to write on an average day, though I've found counting words every day makes me freak out so I try to avoid it. I think it's fine if people write a whole lot in one day, too, if that works for them, so long as they 1) edit 2) don't feel bad about writing less and 3) allow themselves regular time off.

At first, I read this as "I can't just write about what my rats are up to IN my Sailor Moon headcanons," which sounds awesome.
