Is there a Cumberblocker?

Benedict Cumberbatch makes me slightly ill and I think I may actually throw up the next time I see a picture of him. It's mostly not his fault; it's not his fault that he looks like that, and if a bunch of women on the internet weren't losing their collective panties over him and shoving him down my throat all the time, I would not care. But it's some his fault, because his personality really bugs me. (Aw, he grew up with lots of money and all the privileges. Poor baby.) Still, there are far worse celebrities in the world, but I don't have to see pictures of them everywhere I go, or hear other male celebrities compared to them every time a male celebrity comes up, or etc.

SOMEONE ELSE TIRED OF THAT FACE

HIM AND TOM HIDDLESTON I SWEAR

I srsly know nothing about them personally but all of tumblr, including my buds, is really really nuts for them and I don't get it. Which is normally fine, but tumblr is...like I said, they're everywhere. Luckily said friends of mine are not that obsessed.

Actually, I'm not tired of either of them anymore at all, they're just...there, and I am desensitized, especially since I now see them as just the PBs for a friend's character and thus AS that character (PB = play by, celebrity or model face used as an approximate for what your character looks like in RP)but for awhile there I was going insane.

I'm kind of into Tom Hiddleston, and I couldn't figure out why until I realized he looks like my husband, especially the nose. Oh also, a site I frequent constantly trashes Tom Hiddleston for 1) being too dorky and 2) the terrible crime of not being Benedict Cumberbatch.

Benedict Cumberbatch, however, looks like a frog.

Thank heavens, I'm not the only one.

I was seriously starting to wonder if I lacked some neuronal cluster necessary for seeing Benedict Cumberbatch as an incredible sex god. Because it seemed there was no other way to explain it.

I am not frequenting any of those corners of the internet at the moment, but after Desolation of Smaug I imagine I will also be banging my head on the desk. I also aggressively don't get it, but that isn't rare for me...

I very often don't find celebrities attractive whom I'm supposed to find attractive, too. But the depth and breadth of devotion to Cumberbatch goes beyond "idgi" to "other women have insisted all women MUST want him so many times I now want to punch him."
