No one gets one-night stands outside class quests, unless there's some obscure quest my husband and I have not done in which they exist. Also, my female characters have gotten as many as any male characters, totting up the options in my head. I will have to make a list of that as well. I thought my Agent was going to have fewer than a male character would, but then I got to Nar Shaadaa (sp?) and now I'm not so sure. Also, I'm only at Nar Shaadaa with her.
I feel that Smugglers and Inquisitors were written with female PCs in mind, and that Troopers slightly lean toward female PCs, at least until mid-Chapter 2 (where I am with mine). The only character I've played whom I feel was written more with male PCs in mind is my Agent, and as I said, I'm starting to retract that belief. And I have seen less of the Agent quests than any other class quests.
Overall, I feel they put far more care into the options for female characters than those for male characters. Yes, male characters have more in-crew romances. But three of them are nearly copy-pasted, and the fourth (for Inquisitors) only escapes that because the first three Inquisitor crew members (of which she's the third) are all written so exceptionally well. Even the non-copy-pasted options for male PCs are almost all quite young with the sarcastic-yet-sweet thing going. I believe their real options are fewer than for a female PC. Plus, I should have noted that male warriors only get two options if they're dark side. Male light side warriors get one to female's two.
The no-het romance thing doesn't affect me personally, because I am not interested in non-het romance. But Bioware really should have just made everyone bi, as in DA2. They'd have gotten different fallout for that (as they did with DA2, with homophobic assholes downrating the game because of it), but it would have been better. So long as the characters didn't do what Anders does: lose points because you can't tell him you're not interested without being an ass about it.
