NaNoWriNone
Nov. 15th, 2012 05:12 pmLast night, I realized I had gone nearly two weeks without writing. This does not happen -- while I've been writing less than normal the last couple months, three days without working on something is unusual. I looked over some old posts and Beroli reminded me that this happens every year. I think, "this year, I'll at least try to do NaNo!" Thereby ensuring I write nothing for weeks.
Now that there is no chance whatsoever that I can come anywhere near "winning" this thing, I can write again. Maybe I'll plan for this next year, take the first week or so of November off from writing. Because even if I say I'm not going to participate, I'm not even going to try, NaNo is still there, hamstringing every attempt I make to get words down. I know it helps a lot of people, but I am definitely not one of them.
