Wedding stuff
May. 1st, 2012 02:51 pm I was supposed to renew my license last April, but that's when I threw out my back. So it didn't happen. So now my license is expired, and that means to get a new license, I need my birth certificate. And I need a driver's license (or state or military ID or passport) to get a marriage license. But I lost my birth certificate in my last move -- I'm sure it's somewhere, I just have no clue where. The only way to get a certified copy of my birth certificate without a state ID, military ID, or passport is to send copies of a bunch of stuff to Michigan. It's a good thing the utility bill's in my name.
The birth certificate probably won't get here until June, so we'll be getting married later than expected. On the plus side, that means my mom will be able to come. She paid for the dress I'm getting married in. I'm going to need to buy a cardigan or something to put over it for waiting in the justice of the peace's office -- summer in Florida means it is freezing inside public places.
