(no subject)

 So I'm going to start analyzing Twilight. I've been flip-flopping on which journal to do it on, or whether to make a new journal for it, but I think I'll just do it here. As for why... there are tons of Twilight analyses online. But most of them seem to have something against the fact that it's a romance novel, and that therefore the entire story naturally revolves around the relationship between Bella and Edward. And I feel I really should read the thing, it's such a huge phenomenon, but I'll need some outside reason to keep reading it. And also -- I am bored. 

I'm not going to go into this looking for things to make fun of or get mad at. I'm going to try to give Meyer the benefit of the doubt. I'm going to try to post something every Sunday.
