Video games are so much better than they used to be

I got Rune Factory 4 yesterday. Holy shit. I thought it was weird for any game to have a solid 5-star rating on amazon, and I don't trust amazon reviews anyway, but in this case they're right.

Oh, I love Run Factory. I had a couple of them, but I had to sell my Wii and all my games. Sadness.

Have you heard of Pumpkin Online? It's in development, they just finished their Kickstarter. MMO farming and dating sim with -- and this is the awesome bit -- seriously diverse options for your character. Different skin colors, non-binary genders, disabilities, all kinds of stuff. They're even making a Spoonie Island and working on Spoon Theory rules for it that you can choose for your character. Also being able to romance any character. I'm very excited for it.

INOWRITE?! Don't get me wrong, I love my classics. But I side-eye anyone who refuses to play modern games. Video games are all about the technology that can produce them. That's something to celebrate, not turn a nose to!
