Re your Sims post: Yeah, it really bothers me people only seem able to think of white people when it comes to their characters, or, worse, whiteness only for the specifically *beautiful* characters. And it's on such a mass scale, I've noticed, that it says a lot not just about the subconscious of individuals but about our culture as a whole that poC never even seem to be considered as possibly ever counting as among the pretty people.
