Twilight Gives Me Headaches
Mar. 18th, 2012 10:22 pmI've been cutting back on Twilight because it makes me grumpy. Every time I read it, I get a headache.
I've never had a physical response like this to fiction before. I've thrown books because they enraged or frustrated me (Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, for instance), but never only been able to read a few pages of a book at a time. I wonder if the layout could have something to do with this. Twilight's font's on the large side, and so are the margins. Maybe this has a similar effect on me as Livejournal's Release 83. Too much white space = too many eye movements = headache. In Twilight's case, the content doesn't help.
