Oh man, I have this on my hard drive, but I haven't been able to make myself open it. And having read this, I'm pretty sure it's going to stay that way. I haven't read Affliction, either, because I read some of the comments about it, and... *hands*

Lately everything I read about LKH's latest "works" and practically every blog post and FB entry that gets flogged on in lashouts makes me really glad that I gave up on reading these books. If/when the next Merry book drops, I'm pretty sure I won't be picking it up, either. The only thing LKH is doing lately is standing out as a shining example of what *not to do, in writing and in the PR aspects of being a writer. *sigh*
