I would say 90's and 2000's porn - in the 70's stuff generally the people involved seem to be having fun, people have natural bodies and hair, and there's usually a plot, since they shot on film and film was expensive. The cheap, trashy direct-to-video stuff really hit its stride in the 90's and 2000's, and one body standard and no body hair became de rigeur. Definitely with you on the terrible romcoms and shoddy action flicks, though!
