Is there any reason given why therians might not be able to use faith? I'd think Richard, for one, would pull it out all the time. But LKH treats her therians very, very badly. They pretty much exist for Anita to rape at this point.
Anita's supposed angst about being mixed is gross. She never seems to find a source of pride in her Mexican heritage. It's all "waah I'm not blonde and tall". She's the one with a weird jealousy/prejudice toward tall blonde women. That's gross in itself, but it's also gross because it seems to me that LKH is thinking, "what would I think about my Mexican heritage if I had any? I know: angst! Because it would be icky to have Mexican heritage."
